How to Get Over a Broken Heart – 4 Tips That Really Work

Written by admin on November 24, 2009 – 11:20 am -

At the moment I felt pain, depression and anger. Man, the anger, the feeling where you just want to make life hell for your ex because they just stopped caring about you. Like that was in the plan when you first got together. All in all my heart was broken.
It is shredded into tiny little pieces left for you to pick up. But how to get over a broken heart ?

Tip #1
Write a list of all of the things you did not like about your ex b/g, point out any instances where you were not treated in a good way, hurt and such things that stressed you about the person or relationship. When you start to feel pensive go trough this list to avoid idealizing the person or relationship in your mind.

Tip #2
Keep yourself busy. Hanging at home will not help you at all. Do you like exercise? If yes then go to the gym, go out with your buddies, take a dance class, play with your cat or anything you enjoy.Simply focus on do anything that will get your mind thinking about something that is not your broken heart. If you feel anxious about going out, turn on the music that makes you shout “wow”.

Tip #3
Take time for yourself and try to look nice. Not because of that person, but for you and your soul. Focusing on yourself will help you put aside others. Go and get your favorite ice cream, sweet candies, but don’t over do it.

Tip #4
Get rid of any potential reminders. If you have things to give back, mail it,things you are going to keep hide in a box for now. You don’t want instant reminders of your broken heart in your room, car/, or at work. Storage the box somewhere out of your sight, and when you feel emotionally better, you can get back to it.

How To Heal a Broken Heart – Tips and Advice on How to Get Over a Break Up

Written by admin on November 22, 2009 – 8:07 am -

You do not need a doctor to heal your broken heart. You need help healing a broken heart.  I do not have a M.D. Degree, but I am able to give you a number of tips and advice on how you can step over a broken heart.

Most important of all, you have to understand that you are a valuable person.  A relationship is a two way street.  If one person is no longer interested or in love whit the other, the relationship is doomed to fail.  While you might come up with been able to change a number of things, you must learn from your previous mistakes, but not dwell on them.

Just for the reason that your boyfriend or girlfriend broke up with you does not mean that you will never be in love whit another boy or girl again.  In fact, before you know what is happening you will be dating again and you do not feel the pain of your broken heart anymore.

The next thing to do is to put your broken relationship where it belongs, in the past.  A practical and symbolic way to do this is to get rid of everything that reminds you of your ex.  Everything that you don?t give back that reminds you of your ex be supposed to be thrown away or boxed up until the ache disappear.

At that time, inform your ex that you don’t want to see or talk to each other for a little while. You need to remove the ties that bound you together physically and mentally.

Part of healing a broken heart is to go as fast as you can back into the real world.
Engage your friends and family to let them help you through this broken-hearted process.  But, don’t bore them with your troubles.  In its place, try to have fun with the people you care about.

Keep yourself busy. Hanging at home will not help you. Do you like exercise? You can go to the gym, go out with your buddies, take a dance class, do anything you enjoy. Focus on do anything that will get your mind thinking about something that is not your broken heart.

Take time for yourself and try to look nice, not for someone else, but do it four yourself. Focusing on yourself will help you put aside the pain of your broken heart.

Start to accept dates again even if you don’t really feel like going out. Remember dinner is not a commitment, it is just a meal. Plan to go out on a number of dates with different people during this time when you are “testing the waters.” Show them a good time, but don’t feel obligated to fall in love.  Remember that a rebound relationship is rarely fun for the other person.

Healing a broken heart takes time and effort. But, believe me; you will not be in this position forever. You will find another lover again.

There are no perfect methods that work for everyone to heal a broken heart. These tips will help though. Whether you are looking for ways to get your ex back, want help to get through the pain of a breakup, or want to learn not to make the same mistakes
in the future. Visit http://reviewmagicofmakingup.blogspot.com/ and learn more on how to heal a broken heart.

How To Get Over A Broken Heart – Tips and Advice

Written by admin on November 21, 2009 – 12:35 am -

Has your boyfriend leaved you?  That really hurts, doesn’t it?  You don’t feel happy if you are on the losing end of a relationship. I have some tips for you how to get over a broken heart.

Most important of all, pour out your heart. A number of the best poetry and music have been about how to get over a broken heart.  But what if you are not a poet or a musician, than you can consider writing a long letter to your ex.  In this letter tell him know how you felt about him and how he hurt you and broke your heart.  But, don’t mail the letter.  As an alternative, have a sort of a ceremony where you burn this letter over a candle.  This will provide you with a kind of a official end to the relationship.

The next thing you have to do is decide that the relationship is really over.  Nothing in the world will keep your broken heart bleeding more than trying to win your ex back when the relationship really has died.  Don’t call, text, and email him constantly. As a matter of fact, it may be best to have a month or so where you don’t talk at all to him, get  him out of your mind.

After that, move out and spend some time with your friends. Moments like these friends can be really helpful to you to survive a break up. They may well be able to help you discuss  through a number of the issues that went wrong.

But, don’t claim to much of your friend’s time. All ways remember that the relationship was far more interesting to you than it was to them.  Be aware that they may have their own agendas in tearing down your ex rather than building you up.

Probably, you can talk the entire day about your broken heart, but you need to spend some time talking about other things your friends care about.  Otherwise, they possible will think you have turn out to be a “downer” and not want to see or talk to you anymore.

Besides, now that you spend more time with your friends than before your relation was over, try to do some fun things. Together whit your friends you can go to an amusement park or a spa. You might as well suggest going for a road trip or  a long weekend getaway. It will not only make you look better but you will feel better as well.

If you have interests or hobbies that have lain dormant for a long period of time, reactivate them. Take part in a cooking class or you can join a hiking group.

It might also be a great plan to get involved in something bigger than yourself.  As soon as you volunteer, you reach out and make yourself valuable in your community.  It will place your current pain in perspective for you.

Also start to say yes for dates from guys even if you don’t really feel like going out.  Remember, dinner is,  like your breakfast and your lunch just a meal nothing more. Don’t see it as a commitment .  When you get back into the swing of live, you will start to feel better about yourself.

If you still feel miserable and down, seek out professional help. A neutral therapist can help you get your balance back and a psychiatrist, or your own doctor,  may be able to prescribe short term medication such as Prosac that can help you get back on track.

I sincerely hope these tips were helpful to you in how to get over a broken heart.  For now it’s hard to understand but believe me, this too shall pass.  In time, you will find a new boyfriend and your life will be better again. Click here to discover more tips
