MLM Success Tips: 3 Tips of How to be Successful in Network Marketing

1. Be true to who you are.
Have a close look at what you are doing now in your MLM business. Does it give you great joy? Are you looking forward every day to doing it? Most successful people I know are passionate about what they are doing. About a year ago, I met Jane, a very successful distributor in my MLM company. She is on fire for the great things that one of our flagship products has done fore her and many of her customers. She has a burning desire to bring this blessing to as many people as she can, and she talks about it to anyone within her reach.
If that is you, great, do what she is doing. But if not, then realize who you are. Maybe your strength is listening to people. Then you may be good at marketing over the phone. Adopt a marketing style that fits you. Find out what is making you go, and discover a way to bring this into your business.
2. If it doesn’t work, stop doing it.
That is the next step after you have taken to heart tip #1. If what you are doing now is not working, stop doing it. If handing out fliers and talking to your warm market has not made your business grow, quit. Expect to see some immediate positive outcome from your actions right away. There should be some financial profit and some emotional benefit for you now. You cannot live on deferred hope for long. And what is the evidence, that you will be better off 5 years from now?
Look for proven alternatives. Find out how successful networkers are building their businesses now. And remember tip #1. Make sure that what you adopt is something that you can be passionate about. If you are like Jane, excited about the benefits of your product, make this your strategy. Market your products, rather than pitching your opportunity.
3. Treat your MLM business as a business.
Realize that you are the owner of your business. Whatever you do, build the exposure and image of yourself as a successful business owner. Stop three-way calling with your up-line. As a business owner, you need to be able to answer your prospects questions with confidence. Learn this skill, confidence is key. You need not be an expert in the details of your compensation plan, and your products ingredients. Most of your prospects couldn’t care less. What they are looking for is your confidence and leadership.
And plan for being in profit from now on. Look at your compensation schedule and find out what gives you’re the largest commission right now. How long do you expect your customers to stay with you? Plan on spending time with them, for follow-up. It is much easier to keep a customer than finding a new one. And the longer you keep your customer the more you can afford to spend on finding her in the first place.
